For many students that connection is not the experience they take away from high school. Esports provides this. Not only does eSports allow students to showcase their talents, but it also tightens the school community and provides interpersonal connections that many students who feel marginalized or disenfranchised need. Besides a whole host of social-emotional benefits and personal growth, it is fun, the kids enjoy it, and it is another way to recognize our students as individuals and celebrate their talent and skill.
