PlayVS Announces Merchandise Partnership with Emerge Apparel to Provide Esports Gear and Fundraising Tool for High Schools.

LOS ANGELES, CA — AUGUST 8, 2023 — PlayVS, (pronounced Play Versus), the leading amateur esports platform and operator of official state high school leagues across the United States and Canada, today announced its partnership with Emerge Apparel to become the official e-commerce and merchandising provider for PlayVS high school esports leagues for the upcoming academic year.

The partnership with Emerge will provide PlayVS high school programs with the ability to set up an online storefront to purchase and sell customized esports gear. Items available include customized jerseys, jackets, hoodies, collared shirts, headwear, and more. Emerge will manage the entire process from hosting a program’s custom online store to designing, printing, shipping, and fulfilling all of their orders. With the online store built, hosted, and managed through Emerge, a majority of storefront items are produced on a made-to-order basis with only a two-three week turnaround, eliminating the risk of over-ordering to ensure products are only created when an order is placed. 

Additionally, with Emerge’s industry-leading 50% profit-sharing model, high schools will have the ability to use their storefronts as a fundraising tool for their esports programs. With this partnership. Emerge will make the process easy and seamless for esports programs to represent and outfit their teams and take the hassle out of a program trying to handle the process on their own.
