How to Play Fortnite in College

Fortnite is available cross-platform and in PlayVS College leagues. So get ready to drop in! Find more information about how to play Fortnite below:

How It’s Played

Players explore a large, destructible world where no two games are ever the same. They build huge forts and find loot, and the last remaining team earns the Victory Royale.

The Game

The Battle Bus soars over an island. Players leap from the bus and glide to the ground to find loot and eliminate enemies.

The Action

Once players land they collect weapons, health and other resources to defend themselves. Players can destroy the environment for resources to build huge forts for defense or attack.

The Goal

The storm closes based on a timer, constricting players to a smaller and smaller area inside the storm. Last one standing wins.

All college students can play Fortnite on PlayVS for free. Fortnite competitions on PlayVS are in an open national league and regional leagues.

National League

Players are placed in national, conference and regional-based leagues.

Solos & Trios

Players have the option of competing alone in Solos or in a team of three in Trios.
