Middle School is Coming to PlayVS!

Starting this Fall we are opening up the opportunity for middle schoolers to experience free & fun gameplay while gaining applicable skills!

PlayVS Students Achieve More

PlayVS coaches report that students build character and develop discipline, self-esteem, communication skills, and sportsmanship through esports practice and competition. Furthermore, PlayVS coaches report an increase in grades and attendance among their PlayVS esport students.

Student Safety & Privacy First

We require verified faculty members to moderate all matches, so there’s always an adult in the room, and we enforce a zero tolerance policy toward toxic behavior. Additionally, student data is stored securely and never monetized.

Millions in Scholarship Opportunities

Hundreds of colleges and universities have thriving esports programs, and they are hungry for High School talent. They offer tens of millions of dollars in esports scholarship money, with more being added every year. PlayVS alone has paid out over $1M in scholarships and prizing, and we partner with staypluggedin.gg to help students secure esport scholarships.

See What Coaches Are Saying

“During the short time our esports program has been in existence, I have witnessed countless grade improvements, new friendships blossom, and an inclusivity that only esports could bring to the table. This is why I started our program. This is why I coach esports.”
Adam Hand, Technology Director

Pea Ridge High School (AR)

“An esports scholarship — something more and more colleges are offering — gives my students opportunities that they may otherwise not have because they do not play traditional sports. Esports provides an introduction to the video game industry which is enormous and only growing bigger.”
Ashley Hodge, Audio and Film Teacher

Dodge County High School (GA)

“There is a segment of the population in your school who go home after school every day to play video games in their rooms with a headset on. Why not use this time to have a structured practice and game schedule run by a supportive adult, to teach these students lifelong lessons of problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork?”
